Julianne Moore plays Gracie in the Todd Haynes-directed film ‘May December’ about a long-married, but once-notorious Savannah, Georgia couple. Gracie, then 36, seduced her husband Joe Yoo, then age 13 and a schoolmate of her son Georgie. Their sexual union resulted in Gracie giving birth in prison.
Tomorrow: Julianne Moore in ‘Mary & George’
2024 sees Moore as the “ruthless bisexual countess Mary Villiers, who rose through snarls of conflicting interests in the English court by engineering her son’s affair with King James I.”
“I’m not an adventure-tales person,” Moore tells AnOther. “I don’t care if they get on a boat and sail across the ocean. I want stories about relationships and families. Human drama.”

Veronica Leoni has been the Genius vision behind womenswear since 2018, adding her sophisticated design eye to the confines of the puffer-centric codes of Moncler. The adaptation required by the design-vision fence in which the Jil Sander and Philo-era Celine alum had to create was challenging at best.
She perservered and now celebrates the fact that the fall /winter 2022.23 collection contains her “favorite puffer ever”. In a word AOC must credit to Luke Leitch, Leoni’s silhouettes are typically ‘unlumpen’. Perfectly stated!
Much of the materials used in the fall /winter 2022.23 2 Moncler 2 1952 is Como-warehoused deadstock. Additionally, Moncler will go fur-free after the fall 2023 collection
All of these advancements and learnings with Moncler help Veronica Leoni advance her personal project QUIRA, a brand apart from Moncler, named after her grandmother, the seamstress Quirina.

British photographer, New York-based Craig McDean [IG] has outdone himself with new images of actor Ana de Armas for AnOther Magazine [IG]. Katie Shillingford styled de Armas in Louis Vuitton for the cover and inside fashion story, adding sensual but casual luxury looks inside.
In an interview with Hannah Lack, How Ana de Armas Became the Most Famous Woman in the World, de Armas discusses playing Marilyn Monroe in Andrew Dominik’s much anticipated adaptation of Joyce Carol Oates’s ‘Blonde’, arriving on Netflix Sept. 28.
The Jezebel review is more vulgar and ‘flip’ than most, but its train of thought is consistent with several others that I just read. I’ll go with the New Yorker review [next paragraph] , because it runs closest to Lack’s interview, which is well worth the read.
