First Good American Store in LA by Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede

Los Angeles-based Good American denim and beyond brand has opened its first store in Westfield Century City Mall.

Founded in 2016 by Khloé Kardashian and partner Emma Grede, Good American is a B-Corp certified company — meaning that their values, workers, sustainability practices matter as much as profits.

Emma Grede was a founding partner in Skims and her husband Jens Grede is the CEO of Skims.

Now the “radical size inclusivity” brand has come to brick and mortar with guarantees that their denim bar will always be in stock sizes 00 to plus 32. All-size mannequins, and fitting rooms are 80 percent larger than the retail average -- and the store allows for size requests and checkout via touch screen.

Khloé Kardashian covers L'Officiel Italia's Summer 2023 #50, styled by her sister Kim Kardashian, who also conducts the interview.

We did call out Good American’s B-Corp status — which Anne discovered when evaluating the Good American website.

The two Kardashian sisters have an unusually frank discussion around the complexities of motherhood, including new mothers who don’t have an immediate bonding experience with their new babies — and even worse. Mothers sometimes resent their babies for reasons too complex to discuss in a Good American new store post.
