Kanye West Arrived at Skechers Manhattan Beach HQ, Uninvited and with Film Crew

Kanye West walked into Skeechers main corporate office in Manhattan Beach on Wednesday, with his film crew’s camera running. West had no invitation and no appointment.

Forgive us while we unscrabble our collective AOC brain.

TMZ was first to report that Skechers explains the scene, as Ye "arrived unannounced and without invitation at one of Skechers’ corporate offices in Los Angeles. Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation."

Why Kanye thinks that any major brand wants him walking through their door at this moment, without an invite and an appointment, is beyond us. Except when you think you are God, you can’t imagine that Skechers— founded by Jewish man Robert Greenberg and now run by his son Michael, also a Jew, as the current president — has no interest in talking to an anti-Semite.

A spokesperson told TMZ, "Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West. We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech. Again, West showed up unannounced and uninvited to Skechers corporate offices."

Do we assume that Kanye and his posse are packing more than film cameras? I would assume so, given his own prominence as a global talent.

My closest friend and I were talking about Kanye last night, and he was surprised when I shared how concerned I’ve been for a long time about Kanye harming himself or harming others — including his ex-wife or his children. That concern lived in the shadows until he moved to Wyoming in 2019 but after his 2016 hospitalization.

As the seriously-abused daughter of an advanced bi-polar parent, I can’t help but worry that as Kanye’s condition worsens in intensity, unintended danger and harm could result. We never talk about the family around the bi-polar person, as if they are unaffected or make do somehow, with no suffering of their own, navigating life wwith a bipolar person not on medication.

When West started wondering if he’s now as bad as Alex Jones and then quoted some drivel about the Gap executives knowing in advance that the Uvalde, Texas school massacre was going to happen, I worried to myself that at some point Kanye could be very dangerous to himself and to others.
