Max Mara Fall/Winter 2022 Campaign by Ethan James Green Promotes Cozy Sophistication AOC Fashion

Max Mara says about its famous fabric used not only in coats but also pants and jackets: “The secret of the success of the iconic Teddy Bear Coat is its unique, enveloping shape and premium fabric. A perfect blend of extremely soft wool and alpaca or camel fibres on a silk base that strikes the perfect balance between glamour and functionality.

Vogue Business reported in July 2022 that Max Mara was one of 17 brands who scored 0 percent on the Fashion Transparency Index. Note that this is not a sustainability grade, but a willingness to report specifics about production and business processes. There is no mention of sustainability on the Max Mara website, or the corporate Max Mara Fashion Group.
