Be careful Shelby and Manny. Sexy glamour is coming back, in AOC’s opinion — but it’s a new glamour with a lot of soul and humanity. Shelby’s spirit and values have not been articulated, based on her current fashion work, which we love. But then we like compelling women.

AOC also loves Gustav’s story, and I’m a bit sad that Shelby’s precious family is bereft of a loved member. I had my own Gustav and he barked insanely at fire hydrants on the Upper East side of Manhattan. He was so silly that I met many neighbors over Hazzard’s barking.

She’s got a KK quality about her — and the lip smooch down pat — which is great. But it’s also infuriating to many women. — because Kim’s glamour is unattainable [and undesired by many women]. And she can come off as fake, even though AOC is a big supporter of Kim Kardashian. We stand by our choices through thick and thin.

Consider all the activist work KK has done for years and her determination to become a social justice, prison reform lawyer. Kim was at Juvenile Hall in Sylmar, California last week, and we only know that because of the Daily Mail. Fashion media isn’t particularly interested in covering KK’s own humanity, because she is stereotyped, in spite of her star power.

In developing Shelby, think KK on one hand and Gisele on the other. Both women have a lot of heart, are great moms, and businesswomen. But Gisele has far fewer haters — which matters to struggling fashion media.

So there you have it, Shelby and Manny. Free advice on a rising model who makes a big impression. Plus, Gustav loved Shelby — and dogs know a wonderful spirit when they meet one.
