Anok Yai at Black Rock Senegal

Last week, we wrote about Anok’s flourishing artistic life, without knowing that she completed the Black Rock Senegal residency, founded by Kehinde Wiley!!!!!

I personally looked for images of her artwork online.

AOC takes so much more time to write a post, but we always learn something new about the subject, with our swoop of Apple News.

Experiencing a residency with Kehinde Wiley is an utterly fabulous experience for Anok! And the property is gorgeous in a very modern way.

Check out the architect’s feature on the property in Wallpaper and Black Rock’s IG. Also Kehinde Wiley’s IG. His portrait of President Obama hangs in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery.

Alright Anok. You’re running in the big leagues now, and I love how your spreading your wings artistically. A month ago she was riding in a red Ferrari to walk the fashion show.

Anok also made friends with Pharrell Williams, for the memorable Louis Vuitton Men’s show in Paris June 20.
