Fin Juhl (IG) (30 January 1912 – 17 May 1989) was a Danish architect, interior and industrial designer widely known for his furniture design.. A look at his contemporary pieces affirms the statement that Fin Juhl “designed furniture with the human body in mind.” This more ergonomic approach to design resulted in furniture that appears as sculpture. Fin Juhl’s furniture was about “feeling”.

In Fall 2019, Phaidon published a book about the designer. Read The rise, fall and rise again of Finn Juhl.
