VMAN Calls Up 80s Glam and Gore with Hunter Clem Lensed by Domen / Van de Velde

V MAN is calling all vampires, who will loose their bloody minds over ‘All Hallow’s Eve Summons the Glam and the Gore of the 80s’.

Inspired by the cult classic vampire flick ‘The Lost Boys’, the fashion story brings together photographers Domen and Van de Velde; model and photographer himself Hunter Clem; and the well-known creative director Nicola Formichetti. [Clem was introduced to VMAN readers earlier in the year.]

Formichetti explains "This Halloween shoot was inspired by Hunter (Clem)’s love for the '80s! It is our own unique story about a modern-day version of the cult film, where Ziggy Stardust meets Billy Idol and goes to a party thrown by the misfits—it's like an abstract version of a vampire."

Nicola Formichetti and Hunter Clem worked together on the current British GQ shoot with Megan Fox and and Machine Gun Kelly, shot by Daniella Midenge. Go to VMAN to check out all the fashion details in the superbly-executed, sensory-overload fashion story.

Note: Because AOC always researches everything we write about, there is a back story attached to the actors in the film ‘The Lost Boys’. It does not have a place in this discussion imo, and we are blinded by this exceptional creative explosion of VMAN talent. However, there is a not-great back story that is easily researched connected to the movie, and I feel compelled to mention that fact. ~ Anne
