The May 2022 issue is Anitta’s second cover for Vogue Brazil, celebrating its 47th year anniversary. Her first cover was May 2019.

Anitta’s personal life reverberates like her career. Openly bisexual, she also chooses to have open relationships:

“If the person makes me feel that way (well), I don't care if s[he]'s had sex with someone else. Don't even tell me, do what you want and come back. If I keep feeling loved, wanted, special, I don't care what the person does when I'm not there. The last straw for me is exposing myself, harming my work, not supporting me”, she tells Vogue Brazil.

Anitta gave a “show-stopping” second weekend performance at Coachella, where her fans turned out in full force. She also performed the first weekend at Coachella, adding surprise guests Snoop Dogg, Saweetie and Diplo to her show.
