Shortly after American rapper Doja Cat’s ELLE US interview with Marjon Carlos, she cut short her South American tour and checked into the hospital for tonsil surgery. Photographer Adrienne Raquel [IG] met up with Doja Cat in LA, flashing high-drama fashion images styled by Patti Wilson.

Back to the post-fashion shoot hospital room, the potentially-dangerous growth on the star’s tonsil was removed. Wearing her hospital gown, Doja Cat shared a rap video on June 16, where she raspily delivered the lyrics to Nicki Minaj’s verse on Trey Songz’ “Bottoms Up”.

Treating an abscess on her tonsil prompted the singer to swear off vaping.
