FESTIVAL COLLECTION 2025 by Kate Moss & Bobby Gillespie for Zara by Mert & Marcus

In June, supermodel Kate Moss [IG] worked with longtime stylist, Katy England [IG] and England’s husband Scottish musician, singer-songwriter and founder of alternative rock band Primal Scream Bobby Gillespie on a Zara [IG] collaboration celebrating Glastonbury and Britain’s summer festival culture.

After all the grief Zara has experienced in our highly-charged, divided political culture worldwide, Gillespie is a courageous choice.

Called the Festival Collection, Moss’ second collaboration with Zara featured bohemian pieces inspired by "thrift stores of small-town America to the most elevated boutiques of Paris and Milan," per Zara.

These pieces are in Kate Moss’ extensive fashion archives that welcomed Moss and England, as they selected pieces to inspire the new collection.

"We put the music on and had a good look around and found some real treasures that I haven’t seen in such a long time. Katy is always gasping when we go to storage. When you see some bits it’s like meeting a favourite old friend again."

This second Kate Moss x Zara reunion included menswear with Bobby Gillespie designing and modeling alongside Moss in the campaign. "When I saw Bobby's designs, I really wanted so much of it that we decided to mix and match. It's Bobby and Kate for Zara," Moss told THR. Gillespie amplified his enthusiasm about the clothes saying, "There's a jacket in black leather, like Marlon Brando wore in The Wild One. Velvet collar, leopard print lining. It's special. This is easier to wear than a biker's jacket, it's chic-er, cooler, not something everybody wears."

Kate Moss said the Festival Collection isn’t only about sweet “wafty dresses’. The rock ‘n’ roll vibe is strong, giving the assortment a tougher vibe. Harper’s Bazaar UK called it “a boho-Brit rock dream.” Think a version of Moss’ gold leather hot pants suitable for mud sliding.

Photographers Mert Alas [IG] and Marcus Piggott [IG] shot the Festival Collection campaign. In a cool twist, the lookbook imagery [shot by Casper Sejersen] stars young friends and family with Moss' daughter, Lila Moss, and England and Gillespie's son, Lux Gillespie.
