Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling Are Inspiring

AOC moved over to 2020 forward Fashion, checking out Eva Mendes’ recent work after renewing these images. It was only then that we realized that in 2012, when this Txema Yeste story was shot, Mendes was already an “official couple” with actor Ryan Gosling.

Mendes covered the April 30, 2025 issue of ELLE France and AOC noted in the first sentence that Eva Mendes is a very direct woman madly in love with her man, the father of their two daughters. Eva told ELLE France:

“I feel really fucking sexy at times . . . The way my man looks at me is just…at times I’m like, oh my God. That might not sit well with people, but so much of how I feel is a reflection of what he’s giving me.”

In that way, Gossling has very much helped to shape Eva’s view of herself — including her robust sensuality — in a positive and life-affirming way.
