The Tate London says that British artist Linder Sterling is probably best known for the record sleeve she designed for Orgasm Addict by the Buzzcocks (1977), showing a naked woman with an iron for a head and grinning mouoths instead of nipples.
Linder’s collages of Saskia de Brauw, lensed by Paolo Roversi for Wallpaper’s September issue are very tame compared to Linder’s typical fare. Stylist Isabelle Kountoure chooses Akris, Calvin Klein Collection, Salvatore Ferragamo and more, which are justaposed against the everday items of modern living in ‘The White Queen’.
