Photographer Viet Ha Tran Captures 'The Golden Imprint' For Hedonist Magazine

Hedonist Magazine features ‘The Golden Imprint’, an art photography project between Madrid-based Vietnamese photographer Viet Ha Tran, and the Ho Chi Minh City-based Vietnamese leading fashion designer Van Thanh Cong to promote Vietnamese tradition and fashion to the world.
The photos from “The Golden Imprint” feature hand-made tradition-inspired costumes inspired by the phoenix and motifs on ancient Dong Son bronze drums of Vietnam, drawing a picture of Vietnamese tradition and art. The background, a temple in Ho Chi Minh City, communicates a traditional Asian atmosphere to the audience.
Designer Van Thanh Cong’s designs have appeared in prestigious fashion events such as Miss World Universe, Miss World Vietnam, Miss Vietnam Woman World USA, Miss International Queen, Miss Vietnam in USA and fashion magazines in Vietnam. Most recently, his design was worn by Miss India 2013 Ruhani Sharma at the Asian Fashion Week 2014 in Indonesia.
The photoshoot features three Vietnamese models Dieu Huyen, Oanh Di, Nhu Van, and the prominent accessory designer Do Van Tri.
