Gisele Bundchen Smolders In Vivara Jewelry Christmas 2018 Campaign By Luigi + Iango

Global earth goddess, supermodel Gisele Bundchen reminds us that sensuality is also part of the Christmas season, styled by Patti Wilson in red draped fabric to keep engaged eyes on other dazzles. Gisele is lensed by Luigi + Iango, with Wilson decorating her body with Brazilian jewelry brand Vivara for their Christmas 2018 campaign.

When writing about Bundchen’s new book ‘My Path to a Meaningful Life’, we focused on her commitment to the environment and being a global ambassador for saving the planet. The truth is that Gisele also writes about why she left Victoria’s Secret, where she reigned as supreme queen for many years.

“For the first five years, I felt comfortable modeling in lingerie, but as time went on, I felt less and less at ease being photographed walking the runway wearing just a bikini or a thong,” she said. “Give me a tail, a cape, wings—please, anything to cover me up a little!”

“I was certainly grateful for the opportunity and the financial security the company had given me, but I was at a different place in my life, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to continue working there," she wrote.

With her well-documented instinctive attachment to the universe, Gisele made her decision about VS and her multi-million-$$$ contract in a totally unique way.

“I crumpled up two small pieces of paper [with the words 'yes' and 'no' on them] and placed them inside an empty teacup,” she explained; “I closed my eyes and set an intention: whatever piece of paper I chose would be for my highest and best self and be the right decision.”

Gisele ended up picking 'no,' and that was the end of her time with VS. Patti Wilson’s red fabric gives Gisele the more subtle sensuality she refers to in her book. Bloggers will write that the supermodel has ‘stripped down’ or ‘goes totally naked’ in an effort to garner page views. That verbiage is forbidden at AOC because coming out of the Victoria’s Secret organization in a series of great jobs that I loved, I always understood that the most sensually sophisticated and aware women don’t like being camera bait . . . or blog bait either. It’s very artificial and disconnected from a woman’s inner essence when her entire identity plays out against the backdrop of voyeuristic fantasy and bloggers dialing for $$$. ~ Anne
