For the first time — and in an emotional moment, frankly —Anne of Carversville is posting the story ‘Magic Moves’ featuring French ballet dancer and choreographer Marie-Agnès Gillot and Sierra Leonean-American ballet dancer, currently dancing with the Boston Ballet Michaela DePrince.
The fashion story ‘Magic Moves’ was published in Vogue Germany July 2018, styled by Patrick Mackie and shot by AOC-beloved photographers Luigi & Iango [IG].
Coincidentally, I was updating the life of Michaela DePrince, see our original post about Michaela, and went to her IG.
Call me stunned to see Michaela dancing across Park Avenue to the song that has taken up so much of my mind in the last year: ‘Joy’ [Unspeakable] sung by Hampton Roads, Virginia-based choir Voices of Fire.
Pharrell Williams was involved in the founding of Voices of Fire, led by his uncle Bishop Ezekiel Williams.
