Bar Refaeli is Combat Ready for GQ Italia May 2011

Is Bar Refaeli on her own combat mission in pursuit of peace? In GQ Italia’s May 2011 issue, Bar seems to suggest that humans should make love and not war. Photographer Anthony Maule does a great job of delivering the message. Alternatively — as one wiseass blogger quipped this morning — Bar Rafaeli would be Osama Bin Laden’s biggest nightmare.

Then there’s the reality that Bar dressing down in combat fatigues doesn’t sit well with many of her fellow Israelis, given her own lack of military service. Whatever — we’re inspired.
