Me, Myself & I | Megan Fox | Craig McDean | Interview

Anne of Carversville return to our natural state of provocative conversation this morning with the Megan Fox Interview photos by Craig McDean. (Content not yet online.)

In what’s already a love it|hate it dialogue on the Internet, many bloggers just don’t “get it”, in their own words.

To us the message is clear: from celluloid, 2 minute get-off adult fllcks to the desire of American women to clone themselves after celebs, women are Photoshopped creatures of perfection, unrealistic body image and no personality.

And as “mirror, mirror” women, we’re totally infatuated with ourselves.

These are the Sexy and the City women — hardly gone wild. We must return to the 1970s to find non-celluloid women in the mainstream. Yes, the third-wave ‘feminists’ argued to be slut girls, but it didn’t resonate.

Being devoted to fighting the morality police in all forms, we also note that female bisexuality is on the table in the Interview Craig McDean photographs.

The mannequin is provocative as a substitute for the real woman. Publishing the photos with a real woman would have dramatic consequences in trying to deliver what’s becoming a mainstream message. I don’t believe that insinuation of a new sexual fetish gets any of us in trouble.

If sexual insinuation of a mannequin does put us in the penalty box, the Google Image discussion would become very interesting. Photos via Fashion Gone Rogue.
