#PUMA x Balmain Collab with Cara Delevingne Launches November 21

PUMA and Balmain are launching their first-ever product collaboration as a fusion of creative talent. Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing joins forces with his friend and muse, supertalent Cara Delevingne — who has worked with PUMA since 2016, — and studio teams at Balmain and PUMA.

“I’ve known Cara for a number of years,” Rousteing says, “and she’s not someone who will just lend her name to something. She gives 300 percent. And given our shared love of boxing, the inspiration was easy.”

The 35-piece boxing-inspired collection is comprised of two limited-edition capsules that meld boxing with elements of Parisian couture. Gold is a prominent accent in the classic colors black, red, blue and gear that includes expected elements like sneakers and boxing shorts but also an inspired superwoman dress and reversible bomber jacket. The exciting product launch is November 21, 2019 on Puma.com, Balmain.com, and select retailers worldwide.

“Cara is a good friend, and this is the fruit of a shared vision,” Rousteing continues in pumping up the collab. “Everyone involved—PUMA, Balmain, Cara and me—was determined to create something timeless. Above all, we knew that our message needed to be a strong one, reflecting exactly who we are and what we believe in.”

Delevingne added, “PUMA has always represented team work and empowerment so the idea of doing a partnership with Olivier seemed very fitting. Balmain has a similar brave fierceness to their brand as PUMA does and it really excited me to think of what we could all do together. I’m really proud of what this collaboration has resulted in.”
