Makeup Artist Pat McGrath Labs Launches Heavenly Bodies Collection With The Met Collection

Makeup artist Pat McGrath enjoyed a special collaboration with the 2018 met Gala, with the introduction of her Pat McGrath Labs x The Met Collection

In late April, McGrath announced the latest addition to her makeup range, Lust: Gloss, an intensely shiny, moisturizing pigmented expansion of the prolific Pat McGrath Labs lip product range. On Met Gala day Monday, McGrath unveiled a specific shade of Lust: Gloss, called Aliengelic, as the first shade to become available for purchase at The Met. The Pat McGrath Labs x The Met collection also includes a special edition of the Mothership IV: Decadence Eyeshadow palette.

The packaging for both products will feature artwork from The Met's "Heavenly Bodies" collection. The gloss, retailing for $28, is described by McGrath as "an extravagantly ethereal gloss inspired by celestial beings and opulent textures I saw woven throughout 'Heavenly Bodies." The Mothership IV: Decadence Eyeshadow Palette sells for $125.
