Eric Bolling Jr. Found Dead Day After Fox News Severed Ties With Dad Eric Bolling

In what feels like a scene out of a very sad movie called 'And The Walls Came Tumbling Down', the 19 year-old son of former Fox News Channel anchor Eric Bolling was found dead Friday night. If this is what the "revenge of the alpha males" looks like, AOC doesn't wish it on anyone.

Eric Chase Bolling Jr. apparently took his life Friday evening in Boulder, CO, where he attended the University of Colorado, reports The New York Post. His father's Twitter suggests otherwise, but TMZ first reported that an allegedly-despondent son struggled over sexual-harassment allegations against his father and died from an overdose. People is also sourcing the TMZ report of a drug overdose -- although it seems unknown yet if the act was intentional or not.

The elder Bolling confirmed the death Saturday in a statement on his Twitter account: “Adrienne and I are devastated by the loss of our beloved son Eric Chase last night. Details still unclear. Thoughts, prayers appreciated.”

Fox News Channel issued the following statement: “We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Eric Bolling’s son. Eric Chase was a wonderful young man and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bolling family.”

Bolling severed his ties with Fox News on Friday, as we reported on Saturday. Pictured below at Trump's inauguration, Eric Bolling and his wife Adrienne will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary in October. Eric Chase Bolling Jr. was their only son.
