Dan Martensen Captures Tommy Hilfiger FW 2020 'Moving Forward Together'

Models Alton Mason, Carolyn Murphy, Dilone, Geron McKinley, Halima Aden, Jasmine Sanders, James Turlington, Kit Butler, Ralph Souffrant, Soo Joo Park and more join hands in ‘Moving Forward Together’, another chapter of Tommy Hilfiger’s FW 2020 campaign. Dan Martensen captures the cast at Disney’s Golden Oak Ranch in Los Angeles County, California, with styling by Clare Richardson.

“When faced with unusual social and economic situations, sticking together is the best way forward,” states Tommy Hilfiger. “Each challenge also implies an opportunity: it can take one step closer to achieving a dream, stimulate self-questioning or inspire creativity that you never knew you had. Through ‘Moving Forward Together’, we want to help rekindle that creative spark and be able to help where it’s needed most.”

The message of ‘Moving Forward Together’ also builds on the label’s commitment to create fashion that “wastes nothing” and “welcomes all”.

In September, Tommy Hilfiger shared its future plans for ‘Make It Possible’, launching a new digital platform with the same name, Make It Possible,.

The Tommy Hilfiger team is working towards what they have defined as 24 ambitious ‘Forward Fashion’ targets touching climate change, waste, pollution, social sustainability and more. The business model is focused on reducing negative impacts to zero, increasing positive impacts to 100%, and improving one million lives in its value chain by 2030. That’s a tall order in today’s world, but Tommy Hilfiger is taken seriously on these topics.

Hilfiger’s strategy is supported by its parent company, PVH Corp, and its Forward Fashion strategy that “Wastes Nothing and Welcomes All.”

The campaign face getting a lot of attention is Haitian-born, Brooklyn raised model Ralph Souffrant — who is not new on the fashion scene. Souffrant made his modelling debut at Yeezy Season 3, where Kanye West's team personally picked him out of an open casting lineup of over 1000 models. Always breaking boundaries, he helped Beyoncé launch the latest Ivy Park collection, posing alongside Laverne Cox, becoming the first male to model for the brand, writes his Select Model bio.

Yes, he is known for his freckles, and while Souffrant’s interview with Vogue Hommes happened in 2016, it remains one of his best. Enjoy 12 things you need to know about male model Ralph Souffrant.
