Louis Vuitton Spring 2025 Campaign with Lisa of BLACKPINK and Ronan Saoirse by Meisel

As much as AOC loves Louis Vuitton [IG], their ad campaigns can be ho-hum. The Spring 2025 campaign, shot by Steven Meisel [IG] with Louis Vuitton ambassadors Blackpink’s Lisa and actor Ronan Saoirse, is indeed worthy of fashion’s largest, omnipotent luxury brand.

Few luxury houses are associated with an illustrious name like The Fondation Louis Vuitton, the prominent art museum and cultural center located in Paris in the Bois de Boulogne.

The collaboration between LV creative director Nicolas Ghesquière and French conceptual artist Laurent Grasso in designing key pieces from last October’s Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025 show resurfaces as the artistic backdrop of the new ad campaign.

Placing two gifted women artists like Lisa and Ronan, who are also Nicolas Ghesquière muses, in the presence of Grasso’s artwork for a campaign shot by one of the world’s most celebrated fashion photographers Steven Meisel is a truly definitive statement for the Louis Vuitton Spring 2025 campaign.

The women are “embodying the notions of soft power” in a 21st century world that is very much tied Grasso’s ‘Studies into the Past’ series.

Lisa’s Blackpink Hiatus Career

Lisa has spent most of 2024 launching her solo career, when Blackpink went on hiatus over a year ago. In a surprising comment in her new V Magazine photoshoot out now, Lisa said that her proudest moment was walking the October 2024 Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

“Interesting”, Anne says. “Did she get paid to say that?” If she wasn’t, maybe my alma mater isn’t dead yet.

The K-pop star's upcoming debut album ‘Alter Ego’ will drop Feb. 28. And Lisa has poured her heart and soul into the release of ‘White Lotus’ third season, where she joins the cast of employees of the show's fictional hotel chain location in Thailand.

Saoirse Ronan BAFTA Nomination

Saoirse Ronan has been nominated for Best Leading Actress for her role in ‘The Outrun’, which has also been longlisted as Outstanding British Film for the 2025 BAFTA Film Awards, hosted on Febrary 16 by David Tennant.

Ronan shared her thoughts about the campaign with ELLE UK, and they are well-deserved and wonderful remarks about Steven Meisel:

“It was amazing to be shot by Steven. I haven’t worked with him since I was about 15 years old . . . . He’s incredibly precise and clear in his vision and he knows when he has the shot. To have his gravitas as a photographer behind the campaign makes it feel all the more real and prestigious.”
