Like other luxury brands, Thom Browne is actively reducing its reliance on wholesale partners, and the brand suffered a revenue decline in 2024 of 50% in this business channel. The brand also suffered a difficult business climate in China.

One hopes that the Met Gala 2025 performance for Thom Browne will give it the business lift it seeks — and appears to deserve.
