/Candice Swanepoel Engaged
Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel, 26, is engaged to her boyfriend of 10 years, Brazilian model Hermann Nicoli, 33.
Earlier this month, Candice — along with Cara Delevingne and Behati Prinsloo — blasted Dr Walter J Palmer who famously killed Zimbabwe’s lion Cecil, calling him “sick” and “disgusting”. Cara Delevingne, who sports a big cat tattoo on her indix finger, wrote on Twitter: “This #WalterPalmer is a poor excuse of a human being!”
Candice and Behati, blasted Palmer on their Instagram accounts: referring to the Minnesota dentist’s act as “sick” and “disgusting.”
“How dare you Walter Palmer,” exclaimed Candice. “Seeing these animals alive in their natural habitats is such a blessing, you have to be so sick to want to kill such a majestic creature of God. You come to Africa with your dollars and euros thinking you can buy power by taking advantage of Africa’s poverty and paying people to help you kill an innocent creature. Disgusting! I hope you get what you deserve.” Behati added. “Dr Walter J Palmer from Minnesota, stay out of Africa! Bored idiots who think that trophy hunting in Africa is a sport need to be stopped. How can we still allow people to hunt down these incredible animals? I want my kids to grow up seeing these animals in the wild, not on your wall. Africa needs to unite against this.”

Dolce and Gabbana Apologize (Again)
Domenico Dolce has again apologized for his infamous comments made about “synthetic” children and gay parenthood. Many celebrities and ordinary folk were astonished that the gay Sicilian Catholic designer would be so callous — and hypocritical? — in his statement. Writes Vogue US:
“An incensed Sir Elton John, husband of David Furnish and father of two sons conceived by IVF, read Dolce’s comments, published in Panorama magazine. He excoriated the designers over Instagram and called for a boycott, stirring support and dismay from Martina Navratilova, Madonna, Ricky Martin, Victoria Beckham, and many others.”
Dolce also expressed remorse on the subject of IVF children, saying he understands the hurt his words have caused. “I’ve done some soul-searching. I’ve talked to Stefano a lot about this. I’ve realized that my words were inappropriate, and I apologize. They are just kids,” he continues. “You don’t need labels, baby labels.” He acknowledges that others should have the chance to create families with the aid of science. “I think everybody chooses for themselves. I don’t know everything about IVF, but I love it when people are happy. It’s like medicine. Science has been put on the table to help people.”
