Karlie Kloss Celebrates Louis Vuitton x Alex Israel Collab At Beverly Hills Pop Art Museum

Luxury giant Louis Vuitton has returned to Alex Israel for a new FW19 collaboration consisting of eight pieces, in a collection that includes scarves, shawls, blankets, and a bandeau.
Supermodel activist, philanthropist and entrepreneur Karlie Kloss fronts the campaign, offering a fresh look at Karlie after her late June wedding bash at Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming. Karlie wed Joshua Kushner in a small ceremony in upstate New York in October 2018 before inviting the couple’s famous friends to a weekend of festivities in Wyoming. .
Israel’s silk scarves are a nod to his ‘Wave’ paintings. One side is a padded recreation of Israel’s art, while the other highlights Louis Vuitton’s signature monogram pattern. The scarf collab is offered in four color combos across three sizes.
The Sky Backdrop Monogram shawls are made from a silk and cashmere blend optioned in two colorways that pay tribute to the paintings.
The final piece from the FW19 collection is the double-sided Desperado bandeau, featuring a ludic desert scene with cacti and cars, pulling from the artist’s 2015 bronze sculpture, ‘Desperado’. The piece also includes a sky backdrop overprinted with LV monogram.
The Israel collab is part of a much larger Louis Vuitton’s new pop-up, shoppable museum Louis Vuitton X, an immersive journey through the House’s 160-year history of creative exchanges and artistic collaborations.
