Usher's V-Day 2024 SKIMS Mens Campaign Hits on New NBA Alliance

In advance of his NFL Super Bowl Sunday halftime show, Usher fronts a new campaign for SKIMS Stretch and SKIMS Cotton mens collections.

The new campaign comes after the release of music star Lana Del Ray also suiting up for the SKIMS 2024 Valentine’s Day business.

“Kim’s been a longtime friend of mine who’s always been so supportive of my work, so the opportunity to collaborate together on a campaign that supports both of our highly anticipated launches made total sense,” Usher told the press about his Skims debut. “Launching this campaign ahead of multiple career milestones feels like a full circle moment, with SKIMS.”

The brand will be offering an exclusive version of Usher’s new album, ‘Coming Home’, featuring a bonus track. The Skims product drops on Monday, February 12, noon EST.

“As Skims expands globally, it’s important to me that we partner with people who resonate with international audiences,” Kardashian said about the hire, wrote WWD. “As a young brand that’s still growing, we are focused on aligning ourselves with those who represent our brand mission and ethos, while having global influence.”

Robert Norton’s Quiet 2023 Skims Arrival from Moncler/Ralph Lauren

In late January 2023, Skims hired Robert Norton to the role of chief commercial officer, a newly created role for the company.

Norton arrived at Skims from Moncler, where he served as president of Moncler Americas. Norton’s prior work experience included serving as chief executive officer of the Americas for Roberto Cavalli and 15 years at Ralph Lauren, where he served as VP and divisional merchandise manager of men’s. Prior to that assignment, Norton was VP Ralph Lauren Retail, North America.

Announcing the news via the company's LinkedIn, Skims said it hired Norton to turn its company into a "global retail brand."

“I have been a fan of Robert’s for several years and believe him to be a rare, creatively minded executive who knows how to build both a brand and a business," said Jens Grede, co-founder and CEO of Skims.
