Kendall Jenner Named L'Oreal Global Ambassador Launching September 2023

Kendall Jenner and L’Oreal have shared the announcement that the top model and B-Corp entrepreneur has been named L’Oréal Paris’ newest global ambassador.

When Kendall shared her WSJ Magazine terrific images and interview early in June, AOC did extra homework to unearth the important to us — and I daresay L’Oreal — fact that Jenner’s 818 Tequila brand is a B-Corp.

B-Corp status says way more about an entrepreneur’s values than any press release or answer to an interview question. Getting a B-Corp certification can easily take two years, and the owners agree to be subject to a significant level of transparency around business operations, in maintaining B-Corp status.

Kendall’s first L’Oreal campaign will be in makeup, with a September 2023 launch. Both parties issued the expected press releases.

“L’Oréal Paris is honored to announce our partnership with one of the most powerful women in the world,” shared Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, L’Oréal Paris global president. “It’s a new high in our mission to empower every woman, everywhere. At any other time, Kendall Jenner might have been as successful as she is now, but her worth and her choices and her image might have been defined or even controlled by others. But nobody defines Kendall Jenner but Kendall Jenner. She is the embodiment of everything Gen-Z stands for, owning her image, proudly growing in her self-worth, and inspiring others to do the same.”

Jenner’s Instagram post says:

“I’m honored to be part of a new sisterhood of strong, powerful women and to be able to say those iconic words, I’m worth it,” Jenner said in a release. “Joining the L’Oréal Paris family and having the opportunity to embody everything the brand stands for feels like a true full-circle moment.”
