Ti Tree Lake
Ancient Ti Tree Lake is located in the heart of the Australian Outback, nestled within the vast and rugged landscapes of the Northern Territory. This remote and pristine lake is surrounded by ancient ti trees, from which it derives its name.
Located in the Ti Tree Lake Aboriginal Area created in July 2010, the site — believed to be 20 million years old — is renowned for its tranquil beauty and spiritual significance to the indigenous communities of the region.
Visitors to this sacred site are struck by the peacefulness and serenity that pervades the area, making it a place of reflection and connection with nature.
Ti Tree Lake serves as a reminder of the rich cultural heritage and the deep spiritual connection to the land that defines the Australian Outback and we will be investigating it further.
Louis Vuitton Environmental Action in Australia
Louis Vuitton shared end of February 2024, the first results of its five-year partnership to preserve and restore biodiversity across the vast Australian natural reserve. AOC will initially report on Vuitton’s restoration efforts in a 400,000-hectare area on the Cape York Peninsula in Queensland, Australia.
The world’s largest luxury brand’s has partnered with their long-standing collaboration between the Maison and Dr. Daniel Natusch, an Australian biologist with extensive experience in the area. Dr. Natusch has a long involvement in research in Cape York, both during his doctoral thesis and after creating People For Wildlife in 2020.
Standing on the very tip of the Australian continent, you will discover the oldest rainforest in the world — and that is a trulyamazing, heart-tightening, tearful concept. ~ Anne
