Katy Perry Explains Her 'Transformation', Lensed By Juno Calypso For Paper Magazine March 2019

Talent Katy Perry undergoes a ‘Transformation’, styled by Patti Wilson in looks from Sid Neigum, Maïssane Zinaï, Tabitha Simmons, Valentino, Vera Wang and more. Juno Calypso flashes the pop star for Paper Magazine March 2019.

We learn in Katy Perry’s Paper interview with Marie Lodi that she and boyfriend Orlando Bloom are so serious that they are in the “throwing out each other’s belongings without asking” phase of their relationship.

Explaining that they are both hoarders by nature, Orlando Bloom wanted to keep his old toiletry bag because it has been around the world for 10 years, even when Perry presented him with a new one for Christmas. Perry is equally bad at hoarding, especially in the clothing category.

“I have all of them,” Perry said about her old costumes and iconic looks that she’s worn over her career, like her cupcake bras. “I have my costumes, my dancers’ costumes, all of my tour sets. My whipped-cream gun.” All her memorabilia reside in a warehouse.

Gisele Bundchen Smolders In Vivara Jewelry Christmas 2018 Campaign By Luigi + Iango

Gisele Bundchen Smolders In Vivara Jewelry Christmas 2018 Campaign By Luigi + Iango

Global earth goddess, supermodel Gisele Bundchen reminds us that sensuality is also part of the Christmas season, styled by Patti Wilson in red draped fabric to keep engaged eyes on other dazzles. Gisele is lensed by Luigi + Iango, with Wilson decorating her body with Brazilian jewelry brand Vivara for their Christmas 2018 campaign.

When writing about Bundchen’s new book ‘My Path to a Meaningful Life’, we focused on her commitment to the environment and being a global ambassador for saving the planet. The truth is that Gisele also writes about why she left Victoria’s Secret, where she reigned as supreme queen for many years.

Gisele Bündchen Stars As Mina, Captured By Luigi & Iango For Vogue Italia October 2018

Gisele Bündchen Stars As Mina, Captured By Luigi & Iango For Vogue Italia October 2018

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen channels legendary Italian singer Mina Mazzini, styled by Patti Wilson in Dior for the cover of Vogue Italia October 2018. Mina was a staple of television variety shows and a figure in Italian pop music from the 1960s to the mid-1970s. Her loud, syncopated singing earned her the nickname ‘Queen of Screamers’ and the public labeled her the ‘Tiger of Cremona’ for her gestures and body shakes. Mina was banned from TV and radio in 1963 because her pregnancy and relationship with a married actor did not accord with Italy’s dominant Catholic and bourgeois morals.

Strikingly, Gisele’s images by Luigi & Iango do not capture in any way Mina’s wildly animated nature, as described in stories about her. Not being familiar with Mina, I read commentary by self-proclaimed fashion experts and somehow got the impression that Mina was a transvestite. LOL. Oh well. The times we live in. Enjoy Gisele.

Rising Star Subah Koj Is Lensed By Solve Sundsbo in 'Mind-bending Couture' For Vogue Italia September 2018

Koj was born in war-torn South Sudan, spent four years in Egypt, and then migrated to Australia with her family at age seven. WhoWhatWear writes that Koj was the first African model to open a fashion show in Australia: the Georgia Alice show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in 2016. Now this great beauty joins Adut Akech, Akiima and Duckie Thot on the precipice of an international fashion career.

“I love it,” she says. “You feel like a princess; your heels might be hurting but you can’t let the audience know; you must walk gracefully and elegantly.”

Cover Girl Lauren Hutton Is Lensed By Steven Klein In 'It Is Always Today' For Vogue Italy October 2017

Cover Girl Lauren Hutton Is Lensed By Steven Klein In 'It Is Always Today' For Vogue Italy October 2017

Supermodel Lauren Hutton rolls off her three Vogue Italia October 2017 covers -- making her the oldest model to front a Vogue cover -- into her main editorial, 'It is always today'. Hutton is styled by Patti Wilson in images by Steven Klein. / Makeup by Kabuki; hair by Ward

A bit is lost in the translation, but Vogue Italia provides a commentary on the cover story, written from the pov of a young woman about her Aunt Gloria, the independent woman. Reading online commentary around the editorial as images only, it's clear that the words cast a different perspective on the images -- basically called the greatest editorial waste in 20 years by some. Note that this editorial doesn't meet my expectations either, but enough with the melodrama. But then, most quick to comment rarely seek greater understanding on any topic. Vogue Italia explains:

"Aunt Gloria had clothes, shoes, and jewels. Not as a mother so slim, you want to shout: why do not you buy a fur? She remained the colorless woman without jewels or heels that I hated. Because that mom had touched me, I thought, why did not my Aunt Gloria be my real mom? . . .

Many a young girl has looked to her independent aunt as a role model. Read on for Gloria's story.

Kim Kardashian West Channels Jackie'O In Steven Klein Images For Interview Magazine September 2017 -- Twitter Is In Crisis!

Kim Kardashian West Channels Jackie'O In Steven Klein Images For Interview Magazine September 2017 -- Twitter Is In Crisis!

Kim Kardashian West channels Jackie Kennedy Onassis in Interview Magazine's September issue -- and the Internet has gone berzerk over her audacity. How dare she!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good goddess, we Americans take everything so seriously these days. Could we please distinguish between Kardashian's beautiful editorial with her daughter North, shot by Steven Klein, with styling by Patti Wilson -- and Donald Trump embracing white nationalism; pardoning Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio; and telling America's municipal governments that they can once more buy used military tanks and machine guns to use in local police forces in our post Ferguson America. That was today's news -- not that Kim Kardashian channeled Jackie Kennedy Onassis for Interview Magazine.

Good goddess, some people are so high and mighty. Pretty soon Americans will demand a citizen review board to tell creators what we can and cannot do! And we wonder why America is now less entrepreneurial than Sweden in international surveys. Everybody should just go to their safe spaces on university campuses, and those of us who can deal with this explosive editorial bombshell will suffer through it.

Kim Kardashion and her lovely daughter North have caused Interview Magazine's online platform to crash multiple times today or send the picture gallery into a proverbial timeout, so somebody must like the Kardashian/Klein cover story.  I experienced the outtages first hand. Get a grip, my fellow Americans. Think of those brave people wading through water up to their necks in Houston. If they can suffer through bitter reality, so can you.

So I guess it's clear how I feel about all the criticism of Kardashian's beautiful editorial. I'll read the interview once the website is stable. ~ Anne
