Bella Hadid’s Orabella Opened Door to Panpsychism and Humanism
/‘Orabella’s Moment’
Anne of Carversville hasn’t posted Elizaveta Porodina’s images of Bella Hadid’s Orabella ‘skin-nourishing’ fragrances campaign until today.
Hundreds — perhaps thousands — of Orabella images have poured onto the Internet in the last month. There’s no need for us to add to the digital proliferation, without offering new insights inspired by the visual presentation.
Given the cosmic energy of these two uber-creative humans — Bella Hadid and Elizaveta Porodina — Anne had every confidence that we would get to now. On Saturday morning, June 22, 2024 we’ve arrived.
The science of Bella’s ‘Orabella’ is a breakthough formulation, that fragrance industry executives claimed is unique and revolutionary. Hadid has put serious fragrance-related bonafides on the table in the creation of three Orabella fragrances.
Cosmic Connections for Real
Knowing that Bella was deeply impacted by the possibilities unleashed by the ‘Great Conjunction’ of Jupiter and Saturn on December 21, 2020, it would be easy for business industry websites to dismiss her creation of ‘Orabella’ as woo-woo science. They have not done so.
A first-of-its-kind, alcohol-free hydrating parfum, Orabella’s formulation features essential oils and clean ingredients made to infuse with and last on the skin with its signature bi-phase formula featuring two layers.
The nourishing first layer is formulated with the proprietary Ôrəlixir™ base made of hydrating snow mushroom and a moisturizing five-oil blend (camellia, almond, olive, jojoba, and shea) that nurtures the skin and enhances the scent's longevity and potency.
The elevating second layer boosts mood and aura with a memorable blend of aromatherapy essential oils and fine fragrance notes. Application to the skin requires shaking the bottle.
Introducing Panpsychism
Reading an Apple News article ‘Human Consciousness Is an Illusion, Scientists Say‘ became the door that opened posting Bella’s Orabella images this morning. To be clear, only some scientists say that the whole idea of consciousness is an illusion or a sham.
Others believe the entire universe may have an internal mind, and the phrase ‘we are all connected’ is meant to be taken literally. The belief is named panpsychism, a term coined by the Italian philosopher Francesco Patrizi in the late 16th century.
Patrizi did not invent the concept, however. Ironically, his mission was very similar to my own.
Anne has been on this quest since my high school days decades ago to understand the devolution of Greek secular thought from Socrates to Plato to Aristotle.
Especially on the subject of women.
Francesco Patrizi Challenged 16th Century Orthodoxy
Patrizi's intellectual endeavors were deeply influenced by Neoplatonism, yet he sought to innovate rather than merely replicate ancient wisdom. His seminal work ‘Nova de Universis Philosophia’ aimed to reconcile Platonic thought with contemporary scientific discoveries. Patrizi challenged the Aristotelian orthodoxy — the Dark Ages — that dominated medieval scholarship.
Throughout his career, Patrizi engaged with various disciplines—cosmology, metaphysics, aesthetics—seeking a harmonious synthesis of diverse philosophical perspectives.
Despite facing considerable opposition from established authorities like the Catholic Church and academic institutions resistant to change, Patrizi's ideas left an indelible mark on Renaissance thought.
Names and Ideas on My Mind
AOC thought it might be interesting to share with readers, the actual process of how this short article was produced. I am open with readers about working with three AI programs as ‘research assistants’, and they have changed my life in exhilarating ways.
I use AI almost daily to update, clarify and confirm my own knowledge base.
Just from the titles of research requests to AI, you can see how my own mind was working. As AOC moves to more ‘shorts’, I probably have 5 more posts at a minimum from today’s investigation, in which I’ve learned a great deal.
Also, the names on my mind besides Bella Hadid and Elizaveta Porodina — as humans that express energy and ideas behind my thinking in this post include: Alessandro Michele, Aristotle, Brunello Cucinelli, Gabriela Hearst, Plato, Socrates.
Make of the list what you will. All will be revealed. ~ Anne
