Embattled lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret releases its pre-fall 2019 campaign, with product and an editorial vision under new CEO, former Tory Burch president John Mehas.
The campaign is shot by Adam Franzino, very much in the style of my Victoria’s Secret vision and features VS Angels Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Romee Strijd, Martha Hunt and Taylor Hill joined by Rubina Dyan.

Victoria’s Secret is back in the swimwear business — online. After three-years out of the swimsuit category that generated $500 million in sales for VS, Angels Sara Sampaio, Jasmine Tookes, Lais Ribeiro and newly-crowned Angel Barbara Palvin launch the Spring 2019 campaign. PINK spokesmodel Grace Elizabeth as well as models Lorena Rae, Megan Williams and Aidan Curtiss join the sexy crew. Shop online and don’t get confused that the two-piece sets are sold separately top and bottom, letting you choose pieces that match your own body shape. The VS Swim Collection features known brands and their own private label.
Currently, the swim category isn’t available even in the largest VS stores, so try-ons are not an option. Ironically this move brings VS swim right back to where it was 30 years ago.

As Sophia, who styled the shoot, says: “I loved the idea of initiating a discussion about these modern day super models, creating a stand-alone section in the magazine that offers a unique physical experience, as well as a unique visual experience. We have created huge pull out gatefolds in the issue to give a ‘centerfold’ to each girl. The images were created by legendary photographer Richard Burbridge, and with his almost hyper-real quality he has captured every girl in all of their athleticism, celebrating their strength. Every muscle, every tension, is captured- athletes at the top of their game.”
