Claudia Schiffer’s cat Chip joins her on the cover of Vogue Germany’s [IG] March 2024 issue. The reason for the total-family celebration is the new movie ‘Argylle’, directed by Schiffer’s husband Matthew Vaughn for Apple TV. Claudia worked as producer of the film.
In the March issue — Claudia’s first Vogue Germany cover in over six years — Schiffer is styled by Dena Neustadter Giannini with creative direction by Juan Costa Paz .

They express an honest, sensual intimacy in their images, speaking with a unique devotion to rebellious and fierce women committed to change and challenge to social norms.

The Kardashian-Jenners entertained the world, while shaping its customs and habits, writes Matchetti. People can protest all they want about the Kardashians, and they can also turn them off. The fact that they won’t tells us more about them than the K-women, who have made a fortune off our addiction to them.
You don’t find AOC criticizing the Kardashian-Jenner women, because our values say we must criticize their followers at the same time. It’s the followers who are making them rich and famous.
Consider that they probably know more about the human psychology of Americans than any think tank in America. Granted, they are a global brand, but this IS an American story — and we can always turn it off.

Madonna covers the ICONS issues of Vanity Fair Italy, France, and Spain in a first-ever joint collaboration among the magazines. The new annual “Icon Issue’ project celebrates legends who “contribute[s] to shape the modern culture.”
Madonna’s regular stylist, Swedish B. Åkerlund [IG] chooses Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano for Maison Margiela and more for the two-day shoot that involved more than 80 collaborators.
Fashion editors Michael Philouze and Marcus Chang styled the cast.
Images from the shoot will be part of a Sept. exhibition by Luigi & Iango at the Palazzo Reale Museum in Milan.
Madonna and Religion
As society, are we moving on from that [patriarchal] world?
We definitely are not moving on, we are moving backwards. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be having discussions on whether or not women are allowed to make choices over their bodies in America.
Are you a pessimist?
I have to be optimistic otherwise I don’t know how I could go on.
Note that is the identical viewpoint expressed by Natalie Portman in our Miss Dior fragrance post yesterday. I do believe, however, that we must take a new approach.

There’s not a lot of information this moment, but the early images of Anok Yai [IG] — featured here — and Binx Walton [coming] are PHENOMENAL!! AOC borrowed this descriptor but we haven’t used the word — perhaps not even once a year. Five times since 2007. It’s a word that should be reserved for true drop, dead imagery.
Call us glossy superficial, but these images are supermodel status. Yes, with a nod to Naomi. However this project unfolds, AOC will be promoting it.
