Fashion’s blockbuster collaboration hyperculture was born in a brew of streetwear and sportswear traditions. And the December 2021 issue of W Magazine reminded us that this entire style mindset has massive wings. And even purebred fashionistas are game for the look.

AOC has featured Quinn Mora multiple times, but Mexican native Tindi Mar is new. Her agency explains that Mar made her international debut walking exclusively for Nicolas Ghesquiere’s AW2021 Louis Vuitton collection. Emmanuelle Alt also noticed Mar, offering her an exclusive cover with the Vogue Paris September issue.
Tindi Mar’s deep beauty captivates but not as much as her double university major in sustainable agricultural sciences and nutrition. Tindi leads by example, living in a self-sustaining ecological community in Guadalajara. All the food in Tindi’s community is home grown, and the entire community is powered by solar energy. For a young woman, Mar is very clear about her priorities: the environment, sustainability, combatting climate change, animal rights and promoting food security for indigenous communities.
AOC would love the idea that Quinn and Tindi wore sustainable clothes in the Vogue Paris fashion story — honoring the deep commitment to sustainable principles shared by so many of our young people.
